General info and interest

The official Mongol Rally website offers a realistic overview of the 2005 event. The site also offers pictures from the trial run in 2004, where just 6 cars set out to Mongolia. 4 of them made it.

The How Stuff Works website is of great help to us, given our combined 'zero knowledge' about car engines and maintenance.

What point is there in buying a clapped out old Fiat Panda if we're not prepared to discuss its finer merits on a Fiat enthusiasts forum.
